Bowling Rules

The following information will give you details of the Bowling Tournament rules.

 

1. A total of 120 teams will participate. On Thursday and Friday the preliminary rounds will be played in 30 groups with 4 teams. Each team participating in the preliminary rounds is marked with a registration number.

2. After the preliminary rounds are played, the games will continue in 5 different classes: CLASS A, CLASS B, CLASS C ,CLASS D and CLASS E.

3. Please find out from the enclosure how you will reach the Qualifiers Class. For classification first the total number of points is decisive and then the pin fall.

4. After the Qualifier Class the final rounds (according to the Knock-down system) are played. So the winners will reach the next final round.

5. All games will be played according to the European system.

6. To substitute one player is possible, but this player cannot be taken from another team which has already been participated in this tournament.

7. During the tournament, changes in the first entered players list, e.g. new entry of players not registered as team member or entry of the substitute (5th player), should be reported, prior to the game, to the secretary / Infodesk.

8. The full names of the team and the players have to be written on the Easy score (tele-scores). The 5 pins bonus (handicap) for ladies also to be entered on the team score list.

9. You will receive a team-score list where we ask you to enter the names of the players and registration numbers. The individual pin fall, total pin fall per team and points per team to be entered as well and approval signature of the opponent. Original score list to the Games Committee and copies for both teams.
